Things change over time, so I have more than one blog site.
In the spirit of adding a layer of indirection to solve a problem, this post will provide a list of my blog sites so that I don’t have to take up as much space on my CV and related documents.
Elegant Solutions
During my time in London I thought it would be cool to get a .london domain name and associate it with my blog.

New Adventures in Microservices
From about 2014 onwards the projects that I was working on applied the microservices approach to deploying functionality, as opposed to bundling everything up in a single monolithic site. I decided to set up a separate blog to share my thoughts and experiences about that, which mostly tied in with cloud computing.

Back in New Zealand
In 2021 I returned to New Zealand, so it made sense to have a domain name that represented my current location. I chose sounie.nz based on a nickname that I have had for a long time.
Between 2022 and 2025 I didn’t post as much there, as I was working at Atlassian where I had an area to post blogs for topics of interest to colleagues within that company.
Something Google Can Index
I came to the realisation that all of my existing blogs being on the Blogger platform meant that Google would not index them, so in 2026 I set up yet another blog on a different hosting platform. If I get really bored, or need to procrastinate away from doing other things I may eventually migrate my other blog posts onto this host and update the DNS to point here instead of to Blogger.
